PokéSurvivor vs Vampire Survivors

Last updated · Unofficial fan guide · Facts checked against the official site and game source

PokéSurvivor openly takes its formula from Vampire Survivors and Survivor.io. If you know those games, here is what feels familiar and what is new.

What is the same

You control only movement. Your attacks trigger on their own, enemies arrive in ever-larger waves, experience drops become level-up choices, and between runs you buy permanent upgrades. The goal is survival time, and leaderboards in PokéSurvivor rank exactly that.

The biggest differences

One active move

In PokéSurvivor only the selected move fires, so switching matters. That makes bonds, earned by beating legendaries and letting you fuse moves, a key progression goal.

Types and weather

Damage depends on the type chart and the current weather, both ways.

Collection and co-op

With 966 partners, a gacha that only uses earned tickets, shinies at 1/4096 and 4-player online co-op, PokéSurvivor leans into collecting and playing with friends.
