PokéSurvivor gacha and tickets guide
Last updated · Unofficial fan guide · Facts checked against the official site and game source
New partners come from a pixel-art slot machine with one banner per region. It runs on tickets you earn by playing: there is no way to spend real money.
Nine region banners
Each region (generation) has its own banner and its own pity counter. Pull on the banner of the region whose Pokémon you want.
| Banner | Pokémon | 5★ (incl. legendaries) |
|---|---|---|
| Kanto | 151 | 6 |
| Johto | 100 | 7 |
| Hoenn | 135 | 13 |
| Sinnoh | 107 | 15 |
| Unova | 141 | 14 |
| Kalos | 70 | 7 |
| Alola | 83 | 17 |
| Galar | 87 | 12 |
| Paldea | 92 | 12 |
Rates and duplicate refunds
| Rarity | Chance per pull | Duplicate refund (PokéCoins) |
|---|---|---|
| 1★ Common | 45% | 15 |
| 2★ Uncommon | 30% | 30 |
| 3★ Rare | 17% | 60 |
| 4★ Epic | 6.5% | 120 |
| 5★ Legendary | 1.5% | 300 |
- ×10 guarantee: a ten-pull always contains at least one 4★ or higher.
- Pity: 70 pulls without a 5★ on a banner makes the next one a guaranteed 5★.
- Shiny: 1 in 100 pulls is shiny; shinies are no longer duplicated (12 Oct change).
- Duplicates turn into PokéCoins, which fund permanent upgrades.
How to get tickets
There are two kinds of ticket: normal (×1) and ×10 tickets.
- Daily and weekly missions: 3 dailies and 2 weeklies, paying tickets plus coins. The most dependable source.
- Achievements: many pay tickets (for example owning 10 Pokémon pays 2 tickets).
- Wild Pokémon: some regular enemies drop a ×1 ticket now and then.
- Bosses: drop a ×10 ticket about one time in three (10 Oct change).
- Rift legendaries: drop a ×10 ticket about half the time (12 Oct change).
A ×10 pull costs either ten normal tickets or a single ×10 ticket. Tickets are saved the moment you pick them up, so closing the tab mid-run no longer loses them (fixed 11 Oct).
Pulling strategy
- Always pull in tens when possible to benefit from the 4★ guarantee.
- Stick to one banner until you hit pity or your target, because pity does not carry across banners.
- Check the tier list for which regions hold the partners you want.
- Remember upgrades are per Pokémon: a new 5★ starts with no upgrades, so your levelled starter may still be stronger for a while.

What are the gacha rates?
1★ 45%, 2★ 30%, 3★ 17%, 4★ 6.5%, 5★ 1.5% per pull, plus a 1% chance for the result to be shiny.
