PokéSurvivor FAQ

Last updated · Unofficial fan guide · Facts checked against the official site and game source

Straight answers about access, downloads, codes, accounts and safety. Gameplay questions are covered in the beginner guide.

Scam warning. PokéSurvivor is free on pokesurvivor.com and itch.io. Nobody needs your password, payment details or a "verification" download to give you tickets, codes or Pokémon. There is no official token, NFT, APK or code system.

General

Is PokéSurvivor free?

Yes, completely. It is a non-profit fan game with no ads and no purchases. Optional donations only pay for servers and give no advantage.

Who made PokéSurvivor?

A fan developer known as JPTER78. The source code is public on GitHub (MIT licence for the code; the sprites are from PMD SpriteCollab under CC BY-NC 4.0).

Is PokéSurvivor an official Pokémon game?

No. It is not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.

What languages is it in?

English and Spanish. It follows your browser language and can be changed in Settings.

Unblocked, download and mobile

Is there a PokéSurvivor unblocked version?

The game is a regular website (pokesurvivor.com), so whether it loads on a school or work network depends on that network's filters. We do not recommend third-party "unblocked" mirrors: they are not maintained by the developer, may be outdated, can carry ads or malware, and do not support cloud saves, co-op or leaderboards. Respect your school or workplace rules.

Can I download PokéSurvivor to play offline?

Yes. The official itch.io page offers a download: unzip it and open index.html. That offline version is solo only and saves in your browser; co-op, cloud saves and leaderboards need the online version.

Is there a PokéSurvivor APK or app store version?

We found no official APK, Google Play or App Store release. On phones, play in the browser and use "Add to Home Screen" to install it like an app. Treat any APK claiming to be PokéSurvivor as unofficial and potentially unsafe.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes, in landscape on phones and tablets, with a touch joystick that appears wherever you put your finger.

Can I play on Chromebook, Mac or Linux?

Any device with a modern browser can run it, since it is an HTML5 game that does not need installing.

Codes, accounts and safety

Are there PokéSurvivor codes?

As of 2026-10-13 there is no code redemption feature in the game, and we found none in the public source code. Sites listing "PokéSurvivor codes" are not legitimate. Tickets come from missions, achievements and drops.

Is there a PokéSurvivor crypto token or NFT?

No. The developer states the game has no official cryptocurrency, token or NFT. Any token using the name was created by third parties.

How do I save my progress?

Create an account with a name and password, or with Google. Your save then lives in the cloud and syncs across devices. Guests can play but their progress is not kept.

Can I transfer guest progress to an account?

We could not confirm a guest-to-account transfer in the official documentation; players have asked about it on the itch.io community board. Create an account before investing time.

I forgot my password. What can I do?

Signing in with Google avoids passwords entirely. For name-and-password accounts, contact the developer via the official site's contact page or the itch.io community board.
